wrote them back and thanked them for the update, but I normally listen to my
books at 250%. I will just keep using the magic tap until this issue has been
resolved.

Hi. This is a known bug in the BARD app since the release of Ios 17. I
wrote them back in September and they were able to reliable reproduce it
on several iDevices. I think we'll have to wait for an update to the
BARD app to fix the issue.
In the meantime, going to settings and adjusting

My in box is over flowing with people who are having problems with IOS

book in bard mobile, then go to my home screen, then close bard mobile

Make sure screen recognition is off.
It completely messes the app up.

I'm assuming you're in My Account in the app store. Double-tap on Purchased. I
think there will be a search field where you can type BARD. Be sure to use all
caps. When you find BARD, double-tap. Flick right until you find the update
button.

No matter what I do, I cannot bring BARD 2.0 to the update screen. I've
tried refreshing the screen with a 3-finger swipe up (or is it swipe down, I
can never remember). Nothing happens. I think they need to fix it.
