Hi Scott, since this is a mainstream issue as well as an accessibility one,
I've used the feedback form.
In my view, it would be good to see AppleVis take an editorial position on
something as significant

Hi Rich, if Apple could work their magic to give us a haptic way to tell the

First, I think the bending issue was much to do about nothing. I'm not
sure I understand the rest of your message, but a smaller iPhone won't
mean a low budget iPhone. If Apple does come out with a s

According to my local ABC news channel last evening, the smaller, 4 inch,
iPhone would likely be released in February.
I have no clue as to their source. That is all they said about it.
Aren't rumors wonderful.

I don't like the idea; it's just another piece to keep up with. It's very
simple to keep the jack instead of this craziness. Believe me
I think too that with Bluetooth ear peaces and head sets, most people won't
want to be hampered by a cord. I know I certainly don't.

Unfortunately, many will not care about needing the adapter and the extra cost
and all that. They'll just chalk it up to advancing technology, and for those
who feel that way, great! However, there are plenty of reasons to keep the
standard jack as is, go back and read Jonathan's blog entry
Well, since Apple is supposedly so concerned about accessibility, I do hope
they take the needs of the hearing-impaired into account here. This lightning
solution is not going to do that.

Hey Mary,
I hear your concerns, but we will not know what Apple has up it’s sleeve until
it is out. Apple has maybe thought of this and has figured out a solution. I
sure hope so, and I would hate to see people left out. We will just have to
wait and see what comes out. Heres to hoping.

I suspect this is going to happen, and I really don't see any problem with
buying an adapter for existing headphones to use to plug into the lightning
port.
