I think the rotor does sometimes move from what you had selected, if what you selected is not available in the app that is now open. For instance, if you are in some sort of document that is not HTML, and thus does not have headings, the rotor would move off of headings to something else. Or if

Yes, Sieghard, I agree with your observations all the way. I've noticed that backing out when something looks like it's moved usually fixes things. I'm not sure if that particular issue is a tracking issue with VO or if it actually has moved, then fixes itself after getting a little mixed up.

Actually, if you have a folder open, new files should go into that folder. That was by design in 3.7, and according to my brief test, is still the case in 4. So, if I know I'm downloading a fiction book, I open the fiction folder first, then download the book. That way I don't have to move it

This allows you to toggle on and off voiceOver's speaking of hints. For example, it was just discussed on this list that some people don't like hints enabled all of the time, but they do when they're in the in box of the Mail app, since turning on hints will have VoiceOver read the email

I shouldn’t bother to give any help on this topic since the unanymous vote of the blind community is that it is useless and those who think differently get flogged, but here goes: The keyboard can be resized. There are 3 different sizes of the keyboard and you can select size from the settings.

Hi, on my 6 it was always very inconsistant, especially with my right thumb which was my main unlocking finger. It did seem better with my left thumb. I had to type in my pin 40 to 50 percent of the time. I wonder if it is a 6 issue or if some of the finger print sensors ar a bit dodgy. I
