Well, I don't have that behavior on my Nexus tablet, so I don't think
what you're experiencing is typical behavior for Android. You may want
to ask about this on an Android list to get help getting it resolved.

I believe you're wrong about the default apps. When I tell Google to launch
settings, I get this dialogue asking me do I want to launch settings. There is
only one settings app on my phone. That is just the latest example. But this is
an iOS list, so this discussion is off-topic.

OK Google does have a set of music commands. Check out

Also, you shouldn't always be getting a dialog asking if you indeed want
to run an app. I suspect this is because you have multiple apps on your
phone which can all do the

Well, I am not subscribed to Google play music. I know you can get some of it
for free. But I don't think you can ask Google assistant to play such and such
a song from Google music, can you? I have a hard enough time getting google to
just open an app without presenting me with some stupid

Hi Daniel,
I am not so sure if in the case of the Amazon Echo this is only Apple's fault.
They are, after all, available on Sonos
I agree it would be nice for users if every service was supported
equally across all platforms, but remember, you're talking about
companies who are offering competing services and products. They aren't
going to support their service on a competitors platform unless they

What is missing on the android side for Apple Music experience? Now from an
excess ability point of view, there are some things missing, since there are
some unlabeled buttons there that are not on the iPhone side. So, sloppy
programming by somebody at Apple. And, since, at least from my point
Once again, I disagree Mary. Apple needs to loosen up and let Apple Music and
agree with Amazons Alexa, as well as Google's assistant. Just because the app
is on android doesn't mean that it's the same experience, and it should be
across all platforms.

You really don't need to mess with the iPhone app to change user profiles. If
you have two different people in your household, both of whom have Amazon
accounts, each can have a profile on your echo. To change profiles, you simply
tell the echo to change from person A to person be profile. The

Unfortunately, it will not. Those requests only go to Alexa. I wish Apple would
get their heads out of their asses, and loosen up a bit as far as letting other
platforms integrate with Apple Music, but that probably won't happen when we
are alive.

As far as I know these type of requests to Alexa only work if you are using the
Amazon Music echo system, I don't think they work with music actually on your
iOS device or with music in the Apple Music ecosystem.
