Is there a difference between verify disk permissions and repair disk permissions? I notice when running VDP a repair is carried out if needed. Is there a need to run VDP and RDP or is VDP sufficient? In lay terms, what does this stuff mean/do? Thanks Ignorant edward

modifying default text

My next quandary is how to change the default text in Photoshop and InDesign. When a new text frame is applied the default text is Times size 12. In MS Word, too. Is there a way to change this please? I've done the help thing in these apps. thanks Still ignorant edward

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you ... For a couple of years I have had to record in real time the movies made with my Sony digital still camera to get an audio track. As a result of reading your post I just downloaded bbDEMUX and it separates audio and video instantly. How wonderful!!! Best
