Suddenly I am unable to play music CDs through my Mac. On inserting a CD into the external drive Itunes opens and the track list of the CD is shown but iTunes will not play any of the tracks. Previously I have had no problems playing CDs. I doubt the problem is the player as it happily plays

I have had a query about launchpad from a friend of mine. As it is not something I usually use I thought I would handball it straight to the experts! She has both n iMac (27 2009) and an 13 Air (2011) both running 10.7.4. On the iMac all her applications both those downloaded through App.
