I had chemotherapy late last year. It was debilitating. It impaired my legs.
When I watch TAGS it makes me smile. I only wish there was a place
likeMayberry left in this world. I would move there in a heartbeat.

My Dr found cancer, I had surgery then 3 rounds of chemo.I waited two months
and had a shingles shot. I now have abad reaction to the vaccination... a
large rash on my arm, it's raised. It has been 6 days.
Can a shingles shot turn
When Barney hands the driver the jar of pickles, he says,
"Now don't stop for anything".Why did Barney say that? I always wondered about
this.

I agree, Andy's demeanor did change greatly in the color episodes.
There is one episode where he is asking about Opie, Andy asks
Aunt Bee, Where's the boy? Opie comes in and leans back against the
kitchen door, as if in fear. That upset me, and I knew then Andy was not
happy.

I read Allan's post, and he is right, we are lucky to have Andy in our living
rooms
on our televisions sets. We can watch him with Barn, Otis, Aunt Bee, and the
rest of our Mayberry family.
TV Land is having another tribute to Andy this Saturday, but we have DirecTV and
TV Land
A huge loss, Andy made us smile without swear words or dirty jokes, Andy and
Barn could make us laugh by even a facial expression, he was a symbol of small
town America and most of all, friendship. RIP Mr. Griffith, you and Don are
angels in Heaven together now. Sad day for us though... :-(
One of our favorite TV actors has passed away. Rest in Peace Frank Cady,
youwere funny, and gave us hours of laughter. Sam Drucker's scenes with Uncle
Joe,Kate, Oliver, Hank Kimble, and Arnold, were priceless.

The Great Gildersleeve radio show was mentioned last week.
Sometimes Andy and Barney remind me of Gildy and Judge Hooker.
Gildy tended to overreact quickly, while Judge Hooker was always the
voice of reason... like Andy is with Barney.

I agree. In the Haunted House episode my favorite part is when Otis sings while
jump roping, come on and let me in, or I'll get some gin. They cut that
entire part out.
Also, in Dogs, Dogs, Dogs, cutting Barney's giraffe's are selfish took a
lot away from
the scene in the court
