Tuesday morning I was watching Turner Classic Movies.They had a movie
from 1932 on called "Beast of The City".It was an OK gangster movie, but
one of the main players was Wallace Ford. I almost did not recognize him
because he was so young.It was only his 4th movie.

The description of the car was a V8 Deluxe on that website and that is what
I was going by.
Last week on The Real McCoys, Yuki Shimoda played Charley. On TAGS he
played Mr. Izamoto, Barney's Judo teacher.

My folks had a 1960 Falcon in that color.It was called"seafoam green" It was
the first of three Falcons they owned; another 1960 (black and white), and a
light blue 1963. Great little cars. Drove the first one in my drivers' license

car, there is one in Jonesburg, Missouri. I don't know who owns it but I used
to see it when I'd travel to St. Louis along I-70. It is parked in someone's
yard along the hiway.

"G-Men".
It was made in 1935. Glenn Ford was not in the movie, James Cagney was the
lead actor.

playing at the Theater - Barney calls Andy "Chief."
I really can't think about Glenn Ford without remembering one of my favorite
movies, The Gazebo (1959). Yep, I'm that old. Glenn starred
Barney's favourite actor passed away yesterday at the age of 90. I'll
always remember his great performance in G-Man & how he was never
nominated for that role is beyond me.
