Me and a friend watched the Mayberry Effect at the Earle Theater this Wednesday
and was very impressed with the great movie. It was a pleasure meeting Chris
Hudson too who captured the spirit of the show and the people like us who love

I just saw on the Mt. Airy News Facebook page the photos of a group of
individuals who were arrested for numerous drug charges, including
manufacturing amphetamines with the intent to deliver, etc. Some of those
charged were from Mt. Airy. How dare these people besmirch and desecrate
our own

Our Sunday morning newspaper had a rather upsetting story about the
overdose deaths attributed to using opioids. It talked about the increase
in overdose deaths in North Carolina. It mentioned that the problem is
even bad in Mt. Airy, and it went on to explain that this was the
birthplace

Mayberry Comes (Back) To Westminster, SC April 25-27, 2013.
We took our first trip to Mt. Airy last weekend and had a ball. Ate at the
Snappy Lunch, the Bluebird and Barneys. Had ice cream at Aunt Bees. The Andy
Griffith Museum was wonderful. We are looking forward to going back again.

try the zip lines. I did it this weekend and had a blast! You zip line for
about 2 hours and it is only about 20-25 minutes from Mt Airy...something

I have really found out how many people know about my hobby of Mayberry because
so many people are asking me about the recent shootings in Mt. Airy - do I
know where they happened, etc., etc. including no disrespect to the victims but
where was Barney?. Even people who don't follow Mayberry

across the street form The Snappy Lunch and Floyd's. It is run by the

Well, we had a great time in Mt. Airy Saturday. Downtown was buzzing and boy
did Debbie and Darrel make us feel welcome at Mayberry on Main - colorful
banner greeting and all! LOL. I just ate some of the Mayberry's Finest cinnamon
muffins and yum yum - now thar is a thang!.
We also enjoyed
reading a newspaper that had the name Mt. Airy something as the name of the
paper. Does anyone every remember seeing this? I cannot remember which

I definitely did see the Mt. Airy newspaper(Andy was reading it on the
couch). This was many years ago, in fact when I saw it I had just joined the
bulletin board and I think this was the first time I contributed to the
board when I asked about the newspaper, and someone confirmed to me that

I was watching an episode recently and I am sure I saw Andy or Barney
