yeah but, most of the Metrocom stuff was around 20 degree beamwidth wide and 60 degree or so beamwidth tall. A lot of wasted spectrum up in the air, appropriate for a lot of small channel sectors and freq hoppers, but not so good for 3 usable DSSS channels and 360 deg coverage. Tom DeReggi
