Because of the amount of errors and one

both ends of the link to 10mb half duplex to begin with. If this works try hard
setting both ends to 100mb full-duplex.

Because a lot of traffic crossing our network is in packets smaller than

StarOS isn't great for SNMP but Starutil works really well for various
stuff. We have been using it to graph with MRTG the signal levels for
individual clients and backhaul links as well as throughput.

For StarOS we use MRTG and Starutil. You should be able to graph anything
that Starutil can provide.

I have seen a similar thing. If you do a speed test using RouterOS built-in
test try changing the packet size to 200-300. As far as I can tell, this is
a truer representation of normal internet traffic and does drop the
throughput considerably.
M3P is a good way around this as it will aggregate al

Tom,
You say that "connection tracking" is on. I advised you to turn this
of (i.e untick all the boxes in the connection tracking sub menu). To give
an example, we have a 28km link with WRAP's/CM9's/5.8GHz at each end. Signal

I would imagine that it's the WRAP's CPU which should be visable at the
bottom of the screen. If you disable all connection tracking (option 8 under
the advanced tab) you should get around 20mbps on the speed tests.
