Today I installed WSJT-X 2.5.0-rc4 and I had a situation today that I

How is he harassing you? He's asking for more details. Just pasting

Going back to my original suggestion - I do not seek to banish signal reports
for those that want them, certainly. Only set the -default- VHF condition to
grids-only QSOs. This would have the immediate advantage of substantially
untying the mess that crops up too often between users in CM

This is very strange... totally unpredictable but easily verified.
Sometimes I get the error and sometimes I don't. It doesn't seem to make
any difference if the station is highlighted or not. I have not been able
to select any station more than twice before I get the error again.

Rory,
do you not see the button labelled "Show Details ..."?
BTW on MS Windows you can copy the full text of the error message
window, including the details by simply hitting Ctrl+C as soon as the
message box pops up, do not attempt to select or highlight the text,
just hit Ctrl+C. Then

OK, Bill. Then I was on the wrong train. It's quite a bit puzzling, when
some data is displayed in cqrlog by answering a call, but not the whole
data.
So it's okay for me to change my way of logging the QSOs. It makes more
clear, why I don't have to change the apps to log the QSO. With pushing

WSJT-X does not send the grid of stations calling via UDP status updates

Hi Bill,
obviously wsjt-x is transmitting some data in some situations using UDP.
Cqrlog is receiving these data and fills it fields with it.
So callsign is transmitted, RST report seems also to be transmitted via
UDP but Grid/Locator is not in this line.
But when using the button "Log QSO" in

Hi,
just wondering why I had to add the grid to any of my logged QSO by typing
manually I started to ask the cqrlog-group on Telegram.
But there everything seems to be okay, when clicking "log qso" the Grid is
transferred and logged, when waiting for wsjt-x-transmitting is active in
the prefs.
Thanks for that info, Bill. So, if I work a R1 station in CM, the contact is
not valid for him? That’s very unfortunate.
Still, could the option be applied for R2 and R3? Seems like we could build it
into a configuration somehow?
