Hi all,
We had an IRC channel on freenode, although with not much activity over the

However, with all the debacle of the freenode, I changed the topic that we were
potentially moving to libera, and the freenode staff banned the channel and

do it, and how we see things
Hi Antoine,
You can use the SystemImager method to do this, the documentation for
this can be seen in the link below. This has been used for one of our

Hi Oscar,
From my experience, the partitionfile variable only takes one argument,
so you may want to add everything in one file, and then point to it that
way. After that, hopefully, as long as the definitions are correct based
on preseed, it should work.

I had to change the settings through ASU to do the following

like to be able to add another domain to search; i.e.
option domain-name cluster.company.co.uk company.co.uk
This then allows for both domains to come under resolv.conf and search both
domains.
Jarrod, would your idea on the additional parameter in the site table solve
this problem.
--
Arif Ali
then please forward ideas through.
If anyone is on IRC in the #xcat channel, I am usually available on
there for anyone who wants to contact me really quickly

make sure you can resolve your hostname via gethostip
make sure xCAT has been restarted when your hostname is correctly
identified by xCAT
Then run makedns -n
I hope that helps,

I would agree with this.
I have my own scripts that deleted the CentOS*.repo, and sl-*.repo from
yum.repos.d; didn't really take note that xCAT already did it.
maybe have some kind of test against OSVER, and remove the relevant
repos for the specific OSs.

I synchronise with the folders on sourceforge locally to one of our
servers,
Does the ssh folder stay the same, or has that changed, I am synchronising
from /home/groups/x/xc/xcat/htdocs/yum/

Anyone have a preference? So far I have received
xEROS (xCAT Embedded Remote Operating System)
Genesis (Genesis Enhanced Netboot Environment for System Information and

xCITE (xCAT Configuration, Information, and Troubleshooting Environment)
Maybe for both of these options, we could put the code in the syslog
postscript, but have it do those things only if you specify parameters to
the postscript. (Parameters to postscripts are now supported.)
Paramaters??? wow
Where, how can we do this, that would be really nice, is this in
+1 on appending of syslog, rather than removing alltogether
