You know, personally, I don't think this applies anymore. Turbo's built a
bad rap in the old days when they weren't half as efficient as they are now.
If you've ever ridden or driven a properly designed turboed car, there
really is no waiting for boost. Stock DET's with a T25 or T28 have very
little lag because they are OEM from the factory. They are designed this
way. They get boost around 1500-2000 rpms. Is that lag for you guys?
The negative side being that you would have to
