Dear Kirk, hey, I moved here from Arizona! Great state, but rather toasty...The Canyon is a sight, but it doesn`t do much. Just sits there and is awesome. As a geology buff, I enjoyed the rocks. Especially the ancient schists at the very bottom. Remember, Schist Happens! Have a great trip!!! Marsha in very chilly Milwaukee (We finally got over 80 degrees. Last time was in September. The thought blew away my friend in Phoenix, where it was 100 yesterday.)
