Dear Scott, Although Schultz contributed, I obtained the info from a wide variety of places. I've been studying cayenne since 1991 when a friend showed me how to eliminate the ouch from having hit my finger with a 28 oz. framing hammer. The pain went away in about a minute and I have been sold and curious ever since. I think I got a lot from Hienerman as well as Thomas. I now have over 50 herbal references and wish I had more. Unfortunately so many of the authors are so afraid of the FDA police that they chicken out when it comes to telling it like it is. I try to look for books that are either immediate post-WWII or pre-WWII. I have access to Powells in Portland, OR and that is one great source. I think it covers a city block and a few floors. The herbal section alone is worth about 3 hours of look time.
Hope I've helped Jack
