Thanks for that Doc - I have decided to send off for some from the UK, as mine 
came from the US and took a week and a half to get here (my fault--stingy on 
the shipping) I have always liked Now products, but it seems that others have 
had a problem with the lecithin or similar.  It is not clumpy and doesn't look 
particularly dark, but there is a definite 'paint' smell to it.  With this in 
mind I am going to get the one from Nature's Best here and see if it is 
different--it may just be me after all.  Thanks for the info.  dee
