Galjak underlined that Solana was satisfied with continuing of a dialog between Montenegrin President Milo Djukanovic and President of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (FRY) Vojislav Kostunica. She has also announced Solana's visit to Belgrade in the case leaders of Podgorica and Belgrade agree about redefinition of the relations in the Federation. Benet brings into question matter of the state form of functional integration of Podgorica and Belgrade and suggests that both states should join the forces in certain areas, such as energetic and telecommunication. Representatives of the Montenegrin Government presented achieved level of reforms, primarily in the area of finances and economic systems of the Republic. Concrete projects based on familiar finances models, have been presented in the area of restructuring and enterprises privatization, tourism and finance services, in which the European Bank is interested. President of the Montenegrin Central Bank Council Ljubisa Krgovic, while meeting with representatives of the EBRD pointed out impossibility of returning the dinar into the monetary system of Montenegro. In his opinion this would "present neglecting of achieved level of economic and monetary reforms, as well as of interests of Montenegro as an open economy, which development is based on the tourism and small business". Jovicevic briefed Risar about previous course of negotiations between Montenegro and Serbia and upon possible solutions for political crisis that could lead to successful resolving of the state-legal status of Montenegro. Both sides agreed upon necessary cooperation and common activity of all states in the region, in order to prevent political and security stability. The French Minister of Defense pointed out the role of Montenegro as the factor of stability and long-term ally of international community in implementation of democratic standards in the region. Riser emphasized that French supported democratic and reform process in Montenegro, with a view to gaining Montenegro's integration in the European lines.
