If you can boot SmartOS, you can use Triton Datacenter. The restriction on AMD CPUs, and potentially some (older?) Intel client parts is _just_ for KVM guests -- but that restriction applies to SmartOS (even with Project Fifo) as much as it applies to Triton. Native zones, as well as LX-branded Linux containers, will almost certainly work (as part of _any_ SmartOS-based system) on all of the CPUs you've mentioned. Cheers. -- Joshua M.
