Quite cool to see us being used at the start of it :) Our renderer has come along in leaps since then, so things are going to look much nicer when we demo.
As for Splice - we put it into Nuke: https://vimeo.com/69329048 Softimage is still targeted for post-Siggraph, but it's a bit more involved to do the work so we went for something easier first.
