I have a two story retirement facility with dwelling unit wings and a large common area with kitchen, restaurant style seating, lobbies, activity rooms, etc. Am I correct in reading 13R 6.7.2.1 "Design Criteria - Outside Dwelling Unit" as essentially requiring me to do a 1500 sq. ft. calc for the most remote portion of the common area? The conditions of 6.7.2.2 are not met in that many rooms exceed 500 sq. ft.
