>From NFPA 25 2011:
3.3.7.2 Sectional Drain. A drain lo cated beyond a sectional control valve that
drains only a portion of the system (e.g., a drain located beyond a floor
control valve on a multistory building).

Interestingly there is a conflicting entry in NFPA 13 2010 that probably should
be addressed if this is the way we're going (not requiring full flow main drain
tests @ floor controls):
8.17.3.1 A pressure gauge with a connection not smaller than 1/4 in. (6 mm)
shall be installed at the system main drain, at each main drain associated with
a floor control valve, and on the inlet and outlet side of each
pressure-reducing valve.

Isn't the zone control connection off a standpipe riser supplying a complete
"sprinkler system" and the drain a "MAIN DRAIN"?
