The combined standpipe/sprinkler riser complies with the definition for a system so no change. No change on zoning. Things wil still be done as you see today for high-rises but it will actually be stated (and of course applied to mid-rises as well).

Bullseye Mike. You aptly did not identify a water flow switch per floor as part of the high-rise requirements. Fortunately that as never been challenged (and everyone provided one) but other than a reference in the 907 section of the IBC on fire alarms, nada.

So each floor will have a separate riser instead of using a combined standpipe riser?
