I think you mentioned something about a wireless bandwidth of 300mbps? I would suggest to set the 2.4GHz band to wifi-g only (54mbps, 20MHz channel width). The SBs won't see the 5GHz band so you can set this one to wifi-n or wifi-ac with channel bonding and all that.
