"Can you tell me if its generally possbile to make a program
that will allow a connection of a Palm Pilot to the PC, on DOS?"

Basicly, that was what I asked 3Com. Their answer was: "The software
supplied with the Palm Pilot cannot run on DOS, because its 32-bit."

.. o..k....

My answer was: "The supplied software cant work on DOS, because its
designed for the win32 API. Being 32-bit has nothing to do with it.
DOS -CAN- support 32-bit. Go to http://www.delorie.com and have a look
at the 32-bit C/C++ compiler for DOS that is over there. Anyway,
I was asking if its POSSIBLE to MAKE a program, not if the Windows 95
program you supplied will work on DOS. Please read what I asked
more to the point next time.".

.. the next letter I received was something like "Since your question
is complicated, it will take awhile to construct an appropriate
reply. Thank you for waiting."

Thats my support story. :)

(not to mention the one where I called my ISP support, who didnt
understand what was "DOS" and why I cant type "exit" to go back
to Windows. But thats another story.)
