This is indeed strange, for it works for Tony and me (and others,
too, I believe). Have you tried it with different recipients? Many
people have several email addresses, and you may have set up a
template for only one of them. If there's an alternative email
address you wrote to recently, it might be in the "recent list" and
picked up when TB auto-completes your partially-typed "To" field.
Consequently, your template isn't used since this alternative email
address isn't in your address book.

It should not matter. It's been working that way for a long time.
