Huh. That doesn't work either! Pretty strange, considering that I can
do it *just fine* if I start from the address book (without opening a
message first). But this does show where my problem is: I only have
problems getting the template to appear if I already have the message
editing window open.

:) already thought of that; didn't matter. Thanks though.

My approach to writing mail really is very straightforward: click on
compose mail, put address in To field, put subject in Subject field,
start typing in message body. That's it, really!
