This is sounding like the problem. That account has messed up
mailbases that are only partially repaired. When TB! attempts
compressions, problems start.

It may not have really completed since TB! is still running and busy.
Something is stuck though the GUI shuts down. Something else is still
going.

Kick-ass eh? Is it one of them babies that requires a double fan
cooling system and air vents? ;)

Anyway, it's amazing how our kick-ass hardware can be brought to its
knees by problem software/processes.

Agreed. What you will have to do is painstaking. You could try
exporting the messages for each folder, then delete the account,
create a new account and then import the messages to brand new
folders.

I just hope it isn't one of those accounts with 150 folders. Yikes!

If so, then I suggest using virtual folders to help cut down on the
folders next time around. :)
