I guess what I'm saying is...I don't think anyone is dancing in place thinking, ohgodohgodoggod, can't wait to see Hulk vs. Leader! It was a fine B-Plot for that movie, and I now they have something in their back pocket if they want to try another conventional Hulk movie, but "Hulk vs Aliens" is a much easier to sell and more exciting concept than "Hulk vs. Evil Genius."
All of these set-ups, The Leader, Sinestro, are just...because they don't have anything else. Like, when they showed the Joker card at the end of Batman Begins, everyone went nuts, because EVERYONE knows Batman vs. The Joker. Six people, five of whom are on this list, care about The Leader. I have serious doubts anyone will complain if the next Hulk film, should there be one, has him in a loin cloth punching the shit out of Venusian Mountain monsters instead of him dodging, I dunno, spider robots the Leader makes. The whole, "Get him, my minions" trope is boring. More punching! Ed, that wasn't a slight re: best idea.
