Cary, having a horde would allow everyone to have their shining moment
in a fight, but I still think you need that Final Boss for them to
fight together.  To show off that they are not a collection of
individuals but a team and all that.

Cap: "Hulk, Thor, front and center.  Iron Man, keep him pinned down.
Widow, take out the computer.  Hawkeye, you know what to do."

Essentially we need a scene of Cap barking orders which leads to the
Big Bad being defeated by one of Hawkeye's arrows or some such display
of teamwork.  (Similar to a bit I really liked in X3, where it was
Beast who defeated Magneto.)
