I can tell you that Devon, my 12 yr old, LOVES The Hulk. And, he LOVED, LOVED Planet Hulk, both the comic and the animate movie. I could see that movie attracting the masses, especially the children. He also loves The Avengers cartoon too so seeing The Avengers fight The Hulk in The Avengers movie would be very attractive for Devon's age group.
