I'm number obsessed in many ways, > inc. my degree title! I use a program but I think you can do it in a spread sheet too You need these columns: COLUMN A "days": 1, 2, 3, 4 etc. (in A3 type =A2+1) COLUMN B "intake": 500 or whatever & copy down COLUMN C "weight": put your starting weight in C2 then in C3 you'll put =C2-G2 (or what you weighed the day before minus how much you lost) But, don't do that yet! COLUMN D "metabolism" : in D2 put =11*C2 + 400 when you get to the next row you'll put =11*C3 + 400*(A3/(H2+H2)) this factors in how quickly you are losing weight, the faster the loss the more your metabolism slows. COLUMN E "exercise" : in E2 put how much you burn at your present weight doing an exercise. in E3 put =E2*([starting weight]/C3) in other words if you weight 90 percent of what you did when you started you'll burn 90 percent fewer calories doing the same exercise. COLUMN F "net burned" : put =-B2+D2+E2 in F2 COULMN G "lbs lost" : put =F2/3500 in G2 COLUMN H "total lost" : in H2 put =F2 in H3 put =F2+H3 copy down for as many days as you like.
