Susan,

I have been plugging all your numbers into a spreadsheet and I have been having a little difficulty getting this formula to work :(

For metabolism D3 =11*C3 + 400*(A3/(H2+H2))  it is saying the formula is inconsistent?  Maybe you can led some help!  Is there anyway to download or purchase this software that you get all the formulas from?  You are the best!

Thanks

Staci

I use a program but I think you can do it in a spread sheet too

You need these columns:

COLUMN A "days": 1, 2, 3, 4 etc. (in A3 type =A2+1)
COLUMN B "intake": 500 or whatever & copy down
COLUMN C "weight": put your starting weight in C2 then
in C3 you'll put =C2-G2 (or what you weighed the day
before minus how much you lost) But, don't do that yet!
COLUMN D "metabolism" : in D2 put =11*C2 + 400 when you
get to the next row you'll put =11*C3 + 400*(A3/(H2+H2)) this
factors in how quickly you are losing weight, the faster
the loss the more your metabolism slows.
COLUMN E "exercise" : in E2 put how much you burn at your
present weight doing an exercise. in E3 put
=E2*([starting weight]/C3)
in other words if you weight 90 percent of what you did
when you started you'll burn 90 percent fewer calories
doing the same exercise.
COLUMN F "net burned" : put =-B2+D2+E2 in F2
COULMN G "lbs lost" : put =F2/3500 in G2
COLUMN H "total lost" : in H2 put =F2 in H3 put =F2+H3

copy down for as many days as you like.

Enjoy!
