I think this is really interesting. Not so much on the cowboy. But on the idea that the "products" we talking about are a "developers" made thing necessarily. I'm, right now, not sure that focus is correct. It seems to me that many potentially "marketable" functional-wholes in TW could be made without needing direct developer input purely through BRICOLAGE of bits-n-pieces made by AUTEURS already.
