Sorry, can you explain me? If I have a HDD connected to the Touch on the USB port I can "see" it from a pc in the same network? How? julian2002;616162 Wrote: > ... > I've noticed that you can access and play music using this option while > the database is still building so you can be up and running, listening > to music as soon as the server has started and the drive has been > recognised. When I've connected the drive on the USB for the first time the scan process has began immediately. During the scan, I've tried to listen an album (flac) but the player was not able to work (the buffer was always empty...). I'm also testing in these days the 7.6 beta version and I've got often these problem: if I add a new folder to my music path WITHOUT scan to search new music, with music folder option I can see the new folder but NOT play it! I don't know if is a 7.6 issue, or this is also true for the last stable version... Anyway sorry if I repeat what I said before, but the ability to disable the scan process is a necessary update to the (poor?) SB software... -- mauri_va ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mauri_va's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=44321 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=85741 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
