Correct. Very much so. If Avalon was a logging framework, then logging would
be a concern. But it isn't. As you say, it is a server framework.
Commons-logging is a logging framework. Avalon (as a server framework)
should depend on commons-logging for its logging.

Imagine if commons-logging tried to export Avalon interfaces. that would be
just as stupid as avalon exporting commons-logging (or avalon-logging)
interfaces for people to depend on.

Why is this so difficult to understand?
