>From what I see the Golden Globes get mentioned in two contexts: movie or
TV show ads which spotlight being a Golden Globe winner and celeb
interviews where the celeb is asked about how it feels to win one. I don't
recall that for the Cable Ace Awards. And nothing cosmic changes if they go
away. I do suspect their marketing value will keep them around in some
form.
