That behavior is what was captured in the most recent upload,
journalctl-b0.log.

I rebooted, logged in, plugged in my monitors via USB, and the screens
went black. I let it sit for a few minutes, then did a hard power-down.
After that, I unplugged the monitors, powered back up, logged in, and
ran the commands listed above, then attached the output.

I can and will do this again and attach it shortly.
