For now I would leave it here. At least until the issue is better understood. Thanks for the latest log. Somehow I cannot map the description of reproduction to the log. All messages of the log(s) seem to be within the same minute and seem to include startup but also shutdown related messages. There is some wayland messages in between stating a loss of session but no details and nothing that looks like an obvious kernel error.
There seems to be docker involved, so I am wondering whether the desktop runs inside a container which probably takes away any message after initial start. Also wondering whether the system is really dead or "just" without any visible interactivity. Might be one other thing to try. Instead of a long-press of the power button (forced shutdown) does a short-press power the system of (desktop environment might delay this by 60s). Another angle: does it make a difference whether external displays are plugged in on or after boot? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2141225 Title: Kernel panic when connecting USB-C Dell monitors on Ubuntu kernel 6.17.0-14-generic To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-hwe-6.17/+bug/2141225/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
