I attempted to reproduce the crash and collect the requested journalctl -b-1 logs, but encountered unexpected behavior this time. What happened:
Rebooted into kernel 6.17.0-14-generic Logged in and connected the USB-C monitors Monitors connected successfully (unexpected - normally causes immediate kernel panic) With monitors still connected, initiated system shutdown System locked up during shutdown - screen froze, system became unresponsive Required hard power-off This shutdown lockup is new behavior I haven't observed before. Typically the crash occurs immediately upon monitor connection.
