I found more information that I thought I might share (not trying to hijack this thread, I swear).
I looked at the files on my share where EAC/Flac creates them. I see the temporary wav and flac files that EAC and Flac create as part of their process, before replacing them with properly named files. Those temporary files are still in the target directory and should have been deleted already. This leads to me to look at the security on the server share, with an eye toward anthing that might prevent accesss. Network obstacles will slow any application, so I think this is the right direction. I am able to browse, open, and delete anything the share from my ubuntu laptop, including watch movies. I would love to hear some suggestions from the community on how I might test or where I might look. -- mark-e-mark ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mark-e-mark's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4726 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=57534 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
