About a year ago, I got serious about testing EAC, dBpoweramp and CDparanoia. I ran the Windows programs in their native environment *and* under WINE. I used a five-track pressed Pink Floyd bootleg as the test disc. Everything gave me identical results for all five tracks *except* CDparanoia, which gave a different checksum for one of the five tracks but gave no indication that it had encountered any trouble.
