Another vote for RubyRipper.

I've been using it for the last two years and it hasn't let me down.

I now rip exclusively to FLAC and appreciate being able to "correct"
tags before ripping and setting the CD Drive offset. (I'm not sure what
this does but it might be something to do with correcting the phasing
between left and right tracks).

In the past I ripped to AAC at 256kBpS using RR to manage Atomic
Parsley tagging and NeroAACEnc encoding - worked a treat.
