It's the Ubuntu PPA, which may well explain why the OOo update option isn't
included - the PPA version gets updated via Ubuntu. Thanks for the reminder,
NoOp ! But it would still be of interest to hear if others who have
installed a non-English (US) version OOo 3.0.1 directly from the OOo page
see the OOo online-update option or not....
