A footnote to the above discussion : I have both OOo 3.0.1 (OOO300m15 (Build:9379)) and OOO-dev3.1.0 (Build 9371) installed on my 64-bit Ubuntu Intrepid setup. The former build uses Swedish as the display language, the latter US English (as far as I know, a Swedish-language version is not presently available). An online-update option is available in the latter via Tools → Options → Online Update, but is not to be found on the former. Is this option, which in any event doesn't seem to work so well) available only for users running the English (US) version of OOo ?... Henri PS : Agree with NoOp (and other users who've written on the matter) about the desirability of incremental updates/patches....
