I know, and as I've already noted, a better automatic handling of that
form is needed. But at least half of the problem is not who or what
generates that tag: is the fact that _you_ (yes, you personally,
Harold) and several other, surely well-meaning, volunteers never ever
bother to replace those empty lines with proper, informative subjects.

Whenever you do this (even with messages coming from _subscribed_
users), you are doing to subscribed users, unsubscribed users and
everybody trying to find answers quickly in the archives, a
disservice, even if your intentions are surely good and your
commitment to helping OOo newbies is laudable. Please stop with this
habit: never ever answer an email like that without changing its
subject to something meaningful. This is what half of this thread is
about.
