I was helping another user yesterday and I came across a situation where
she claims that the OpenOffice.org 2.3 folder was not created in her
>Start >My Programs. I was helping her using Skype to speak to her so
could not see for myself.
Once the install had run I got her to use My Computer and go and find
the swriter program and create an icon on her desktop for her to run it
and it did run. I also showed her to use >File >New to create other
types of output. No doubt I will hear if she has any further problems.
Has anyone else had this happen to them under windows or under another
operating system?
