BTW, ever though of a Royalite boat, or even a Kevlar boat. The best Kevlar boats can be lifted singlehandedly (really) but sadly are VERY expensive.

Actually I did look into it. I didn't like the ones available around here. The cost was about 2/3 the total cost of my big 16 foot boat, motor and trailer. And it's a heckuva lot easier on an old dude to steer the boat onto the trailer as opposed to lifting the canoe onto the car. There are, however, a few local ponds that are too small to use my boat. That's why I have the Creek U-boat float tube.


Back to the tyin' room. Our local tying group meets tonight and I have to decide what I'm going to tie.
