I have a Discovery 174 made out of Royalex. I like it for fishing. I think that longer rods work better because I have not figured out the standing up to cast part.
Have tried a few times but it has turned into swimming lessons. I have not tied two anchors, but it sounds intriguing. I can get my canoe into alot of places that boats can not get to. If there are any camps or resorts near you they might let you try a few to see how they work. Rick
