OK, not being mean, but, if it's doable, could someone be kind
enough to actually give us a podcast? I'm: 1) unable to get it
working. 2) Unclear as to how you would do it with multiple of
words. Please, someone, would it be possible to make one?

You don't have to select a word. The whole point of the
emojification of
text is to show words that can be emojified, without you knowing
exactly
which words or phrase to do it to. Just switch to emoji
keyboard, tap the
edit field, and you should hear "emoji suggestions available" or
something
like that. Then try and find emoji in the rotor.

Ah thanks for this. Now I know what I was doing wrong. I
didn't select the
emogi keyboard. I assumed that the emogi would only appear in
the rotor if
emogis were available to replace words.

I have not tried this, but according to Anna's message, quoted
below, you
have to first switch to the Emoji keyboard. There is a button
just to the
right of the "More numbers" button in the lower left corner
that should
allow you to switch to the Emoji keyboard. If that isn't
there, you need
to go into Settings, General, Keyboard and add the Emoji
keyboard.
Here is what Anna wrote, which she credits to Jonathan Mosen's
book:
After you type your message, switch to the Emoji keyboard.
There's now a
rotor item called Emojis; turn the rotor to that. When you
flick down,
you'll be told when you're on a word that can be replaced by an
emoji. It
will say whether there's one option or several. If there's one,
double-tap
to make the replacement. If there's more than one choice, flick
left and
right to move through them, and double-tap the one you want.
